General Manager – Perth
We are seeking candidates for a role as General Manager (10+ years agency experience essential with at least 2 years as an Senior Account Director) with strong team management credentials who is seeking a leadership role with the potential to become a partner in the near term.
We are an Australian owned communications consultancy with offices in Melbourne and Sydney and a reputation for delivering the highest quality client work. Due increasing work in the West and increasing opportunity the principal areas of focus for the role will be to establish a permanent presence in Perth, driving the growth of the agency, delivering strong strategic client advice, and building a strong team.
The senior role we are now wishing to fill will be one of three direct reports to the managing director. You will have full responsibility for acquiring and managing major client accounts, building business through profitable growth and influencing the development and growth of your team. This means that the attributes we deem most necessary for this role are your energy and professionalism. These will be complemented by your experience and demonstrated skill dealing with clients and staff.
You must have experience in investor relations and/or crisis management; preferably both. In addition, your experience in one or more of the Mining, Energy, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services and/or Technology sectors will be looked upon favourably.
While we have an immediate need to engage you on upcoming work, we are looking for candidates that have the passion and the personal drive to build a significant practice-group within our business either through attracting new clients or growing our existing clients’ business. You will be able to clearly articulate communications strategy, demonstrate superior client management skills and have proven ability to grow the careers of staff.
